GEOGRAPHY OF SOILS AND FUNDAMENTALS OF SOIL SCIENCE

Geography of soils and fundamentals of soil science is taught as an individual subject at the Department of Geography of the State University. It is compiled according to the program for geographers. The first section of the textbook gives the fundamentals of general soil science, while the second section deals with the geography of soils in different natural zones. A separate chapter is dedicated to the soils of Georgia.The textbook will be useful for the students of the geographical, biological and agricultural faculties.It is the first attempt to create such a textbook, and will probably not be secured against shortcomings.The author will be grateful for professional remarks.
